pre & post natal training at fianna

class pack intro offer

Our Pre & Post Natal classes at Fianna are designed to support women through pregnancy and beyond, with a strong focus on safe movement, confidence, and long-term strength.

These classes create a supportive environment where you can stay active, feel empowered in your body, and train with expert guidance at every stage.

Whether you’re preparing for birth or rebuilding strength postpartum, our approach prioritises core connection, pelvic floor health, and functional strength that supports everyday life.

    • Women who are currently pregnant

    • Women returning to training after pregnancy

    • Those who want structured, safe guidance for pre or post natal movement

You don’t need previous gym experience. Exercises are adapted to suit each stage of pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

  • Yes, babies are very welcome at our postnatal classes.

We provide a dedicated space within the training area with soft mats and toys where babies can rest or play while you train. Coaches keep an eye on the space throughout the class, but your baby always comes first.

If your baby becomes unsettled or needs attention, you’re encouraged to pause, tend to them, and rejoin the session when you’re ready. There’s no pressure to “push through” — this is a supportive environment designed for real life with a baby.

Babies are also welcome to stay in their buggy if that’s more comfortable for you. Music is kept low, and the class atmosphere is calm and considered to ensure a relaxed experience for both parents and babies.

Our aim is to make training accessible, stress-free, and supportive — without compromising on safety or quality of coaching.

  • Each class is coach-led and focuses on:

    • Breathing and core connection

    • Pelvic floor–safe strength training

    • Controlled, functional movements

    • Mobility and posture support

    • Modifications specific to pregnancy or postnatal recovery

Classes are calm, supportive, and structured — not rushed or intimidating.

  • This will depend on your individual recovery and medical guidance. Many women begin gentle postnatal training after clearance from their GP or physiotherapist. Our coaches will help you ease back into movement at a pace that feels right for you.

  • Not at all. These classes are designed to meet you where you are. Whether you trained throughout pregnancy or are returning to movement for the first time in months, everything is scaled appropriately.

  • At Fianna, we prioritise:

    • Education around movement, not just exercise

    • Small group coaching with individual attention

    • A welcoming, non-judgemental training space

    • Long-term strength and confidence, not quick fixes

Our goal is to help you feel strong, capable, and supported — before and after birth.
